The PM2.5 filter offers five layers of filtering protection: two non-woven outer layers, one melt-blown cloth inner layer, one filter cloth layer and an activated carbon central layer.
Using a Sockies mask combined with the PM2.5 filter provides effective protection from airborne particles such as dust, allergens, ash, particles in smoke and other types of harmful air pollutants.
These filter inserts are not washable and are recommended to be replaced every 1-2 days, or as often as necessary under heavy use.
